Family Room Dining Room Transformation - Wyckoff NJ interior designer

I am so excited to share this newly transformed family room. This project was a total blank slate which is always my favorite type. My clients wanted to incorporate built-ins to the large back wall of the family room and then add more seating as well.

The blue tones are so calming and serene and make for such a lovely color palette.

Here is a “before” photo that I took when I first met my clients earlier this year.

As you can see, the built-ins make such a huge impact!

Selecting all of the little details - from the decor on the coffee table to everything that you see on the shelves of the built-ins - is my favorite part of the project!! I love styling tables and shelves.

The family room opens up to the dining room which also got a transformation! We installed a new light fixture, drapes and replaced the table and chairs. There also used to be wallpaper in the space that we swapped out for paint and then the carpenter added paneling to the bottom half of the walls.

Bedroom Project -Ridgewood NJ interior designer

I can’t wait for this bedroom transformation project to finally come to life. We started working on it several months ago and have been waiting patiently for everything to ship and be delivered during this crazy time of major delays. Well now we are in the home stretch and the room is going to be painted next week. So I should have photos later this month and can’t wait to share!! Teenage Bedroom Transformation Wyckoff NJ interior designer

I am so excited to reveal the AFTER photos of this teenage girl bedroom transformation. My client’s daughter asked for something colorful, bold and chic and is thrilled with the finished results. This is a very tiny room but it still packs a punch and is now a sophisticated retreat.

A big difference huh?

So everything was removed from the room and we started with a clean slate. We had the walls painted a nice light creamy white color. The bed is the star of the show - I love the shape and the color of the upholstery. Then the light fixture! I love the hint of gold which coordinated with the lamp on the night table and the tall mirror in the corner. We also swapped out the dresser with something more sophisticated and taller. The art over the bed is a great pop of color and the drapes are very luxe and coordinate so well with the bedding.

A simple vase of fresh flowers is all you need to brighten up your kitchen. Last week a sweet friend surprised me with this gorgeous bouquet of flowers from her garden. It totally made my day and lifted my spirits. They also smelled so good!
