Powder Room Transformation with wood paneling

I am excited to share some photos of a recently renovated powder room in Wyckoff. We were able to make this space feel brand new with some paint, paneling and new tile and vanity. The wood vanity is very classic and we paired it with black fixtures (and a frameless mirror) which match the hardware in the kitchen down the hall.

Here is where we started with the space:

The paneling made such a big difference in transforming the bathroom. We also changed out the window treatments for a much softer and lighter look. We swapped out the heavy wooden mirror for the more modern and updated frameless version.

Family Room Transformation - Bergen County interior designer

New Project Reveal! Today I am sharing a family room that I recently photographed after a furnishing project earlier this year. This room was a blank slate as my clients were moving from an apartment into a house and needed to fill this room. A big comfortable sectional was a must and we incorporated a beautiful rug and leather ottoman for a variety of textures along with some fun accent pillows.

Here is the same wall before we got started on the room.

There is great ceiling height in the space to accommodate a tall (real!) fiddle leaf fig in a pretty planter. We also did a gallery wall of prints over the sofa in modern black frames that tie into the black side table.

This wall was the perfect spot for a console table with a pretty basket for extra storage underneath.

Here is the same view “before” where you can see that we kept the same fireplace and light fixture but still made the room feel brand new.

Bergen County living room refresh- Northern NJ interior designer

I am so excited to share this living room transformation that I just photographed this week. I was so happy to hear my client tell me that even her kids are now enjoying spending time in their “new” living room. We brought in some soothing colors that feel so warm and welcoming. We also mixed metals in the space between brass and black and brought in some beautiful textures with the pillows and gorgeous wood rug.

Here is where we started with the room- adding a coffee table made such a big difference.

We put chairs in each corner and selected a pretty slate blue for the color.

Here is a little close up of the details that make this room really shine. All of the accessories like the pillows and coffee table decor are what truly finish the space.

I love this print so much- the colors work so well with everything else in the room.

Not every bathroom transformation has to a complete remodel. This space feels brand new and yet we kept the existing tile floor and shower. But replacing the vanity, mirrors, sconces and paint made such a huge impact.
