Bergen County living room refresh- Northern NJ interior designer

I am so excited to share this living room transformation that I just photographed this week. I was so happy to hear my client tell me that even her kids are now enjoying spending time in their “new” living room. We brought in some soothing colors that feel so warm and welcoming. We also mixed metals in the space between brass and black and brought in some beautiful textures with the pillows and gorgeous wood rug.

Here is where we started with the room- adding a coffee table made such a big difference.

We put chairs in each corner and selected a pretty slate blue for the color.

Here is a little close up of the details that make this room really shine. All of the accessories like the pillows and coffee table decor are what truly finish the space.

I love this print so much- the colors work so well with everything else in the room.

Amazing library / kids playroom transformation- NJ interior designer

This room reveal is a long time coming but well worth the wait! I am so excited to share the photos of this library / playroom that we created this year! The main focal point is this incredible built-in around the window that we filled with books and other treasures for the kids to enjoy.

Here is the before photo of the space - it was a blank slate with endless possibilities!

This space is connected to a family room which we recently refurnished with a new sectional and rug (and pillows!)

Can we take a moment to appreciate the beauty of this light fixture?

The other side of the room features a custom desk for the kids and we selected a whimsical wallpaper and fun chairs. If you zoom in you can see the lovely knobs on the drawers as well.

We used the same wallpaper on the other side of the room as well and I love how it is paired so perfectly with this sofa and pillows. The leather ottomans are such a fun shape and easy to move around.

There is no bad view up here!

Family Room transformation built-ins and fireplace- NJ interior designer

This family room transformation is one of my favorites of the year. We finished the kitchen at the end of last year (you can see the photos here) and then this year we focused on the family room. We added a fireplace and built-ins and incorporated lots of beautiful textures and patterns between the stools, ottoman, rug, sofa and pillows.

I forgot to take a true “Before” photo so this photo was taken right after the fireplace was framed.

On the other side of the room we featured a console table with a large mirror - I love the sight lines into the kitchen from this nook.

The family room works so seamlessly with the kitchen so that it feels like one large space. We used the same paint color for the built-ins that we used on the island and the same hardware on the cabinets as well.

Dining Room transformation - Bergen County interior designer

I am so excited to share this recently completed dining room project in Bergen County. My clients have this large space for hosting so we were able to accommodate this beautiful dining table along with bar cabinets and a bar cart.

Here is where we started with the room- we kept the light fixture but all of the other furnishings are new. Changing the paint color also made such a big impact.

I love these wood and shagreen bar cabinets that we put on either side of the window.

There is no bad view in this dining room!

This is a very long room so we needed to make sure that we filled up the walls with large scale pieces. On one side we hung an antiqued mirror and the other side we hung framed art.
