Basement Bathroom - Wyckoff NJ interior designer

I have been working on a basement renovation for a few months and the first room to be completed is this fabulous bathroom. For a basement, the space actually gets a lot of natural light due to a well placed window. I’m so excited about how everything came together from the tile to the vanity and Taj Mahal countertops. Let’s start with the shower and the vertically stacked blue tile.

The vanity is a pretty taupe and in this shot you can see a little bit of the floor tile.

This is a newly constructed bathroom but this before photo is when we were just having the space framed out.

It’s a large space and I love how the tile is such a wow feature when you enter the room.

The combination of all of the tile is so fun!!

Bergen County Bedroom Transformation with built ins - NJ decorator

This bedroom refresh was so much fun! The space is so serene and feels like a calm retreat. We incorporated whites and blues with little dashes of browns and black with the pillows and nightstands for some contrast.

Here is where we started with the space. It made such a difference to increase the size of the nightstands to be more substantial and the marble top is gorgeous.

We also added built ins which completely transformed the back room of the space.

Previously there was just a TV on a small dresser so it was a major update.

The built-ins provide so much storage that there is no longer a need for a dresser anymore.

Kitchen / Family Room Renovation - Wyckoff NJ interior designer

I am excited to share this recently renovated Wyckoff home that we started working on last year. It was well worth the wait because everything came out perfectly! The project included the main living space of the home which previously was three separate rooms. Here is a view of the new open space.

Here is where we started- you will notice that in addition to removing the wall, we also simplified the built-ins by closing up the open cubbies on the bottom half.

Taking the wall down really made such a difference and is perfect for everyday living as well as entertaining.

Previously when the kitchen was closed off it had a different floor and felt very disjointed with the rest of the main floor. We had wood floors installed and then the entire area stained with Minwax Special Walnut and I love how they came out.

I loved incorporating some color in the family room to balance out the white kitchen. The rug has so many lovely tones and we were able to have fun with the bold accent chairs. The leather ottoman is very kid-friendly and adds another layer of texture.

The drapes are a soft oatmeal and are a great contrast behind the deep blue chairs. We used a black rod because I always love to mix metals in a space.

Primary Bathroom Renovation in Allendale NJ- Bergen County designer

I am so excited to share finished photos of a recently renovated primary bathroom in Allendale NJ. This one is such a classic beauty featuring a gorgeous custom vanity, statement lighting and elegant polished nickel hardware.

Here is where we started with the bathroom. You can see how we kept the tile (but changed the grout).

I am just as obsessed with the shower as I am with the vanity!

Zooming out to appreciate the view and then zooming in to appreciate this zellige tile in the shower. Such a difference from where we started!

The polished nickel is so classic and pairs so perfectly with the tile.

The vanity features ample storage, a gorgeous stone countertop and custom mirrors.
