Teen Bedroom Design - Bergen County NJ decorator

I am so thrilled to share this teen room makeover! My client and her daughter were so much fun to work with every step of the way as we transformed her bedroom. On the initial questionnaire form, my client wrote that she was “Looking for something softer/more feminine” and I think we definitely achieved that goal with the finished space. Now I am antsy to get started on another teen bedroom transformation so get in touch if you’d like to chat about a new room for your tween or teen!

Let’s zoom in a bit to see the fantastic wallpaper accent wall behind the bed. It is a subtle and sophisticated pattern.

The other side of the room features a gorgeous built-in including a desk - here is a peek (I love the desk chair).

This built-in was designed to not only include a desk, but it also provides so much storage that there is now no need for a dresser in the room anymore.

When I first met my client for our consultation, her daughter had a dresser and a desk along with a couple of other storage pieces.

Now the space is so much more streamlined and I love how everything is hidden for such a clean look.

All of the details are just gorgeous from the Quartz countertops to the antique brass hardware and trimwork.

I can’t get enough of this upholstered bed and timeless bedding.

Every teen needs a mirror in their room and I love how we have such a pretty view in the reflection of this large brass wall mirror.

I would love to work on more teen and tween bedroom transformations- they have become my favorite type of project.

Ridgewood Breakfast Room Transformation - NJ decorator

This space had SO much potential when I first saw it last year and I am thrilled with how it has been transformed. This is the breakfast room off of my clients’ eat-in-kitchen which is a casual hang-out space for the family.

Here is where we started with this space. As you can see, we kept the gorgeous brick tile floors and existing windows and trim. So the transformation just involved paint, furniture and decor.

I love these chairs and the wood detail on the front of them.

And they pair so beautifully with the new sofa.

For the coffee table, I wanted to be sure to keep it simple so that the brick tile floor was still visible. This classic glass table fit the bill perfectly.
