Bedroom Transformation - Bergen County NJ interior designer

I am so excited to share a recently updated bedroom project. This was a blank slate project where none of the existing furniture remained (and we painted too!). The result is a soothing and serene bedroom with one of my favorite color palettes.

Here is where we started when I first saw the room a few months ago:

I love the art over the bed and how it ties the room together.

The blue color palette is continued on the wall opposite the bed as you can see with this gorgeous dressser.

Here is the before photo of this wall - the TV is the only thing that had to stay :)

I love texture of the finish and the hardware is just stunning!

There is no bad view in this room as you can see in this floor mirror.

The last section of the room is this sweet little nook.

It used to be a desk space but thankfully we were able to reclaim this area as cozy bedroom space.

Powder room transformation with wallpaper - NJ bathroom designer

I am so excited to share this recent powder room transformation. The color of the vanity is called Pistachio and I could not love it any more- it’s such a rich green and it pairs so well with the brass hardware.

Here is where we started with this space. As you can see, it is a very small room and the perfect opportunity to bring in some fun colors and add wallpaper.

The wallpaper is so pretty and I love how it looks with the brass sconce. We also installed paneling so that the wallpaper would not need to go from the floor to the ceiling.

Here is the concept board for the space:

Franklin Lakes Kitchen transformation with painted cabinets

This summer I met a new client who was looking to update their kitchen: paint for the cabinets, new hardware and countertop/backsplash. I love this kind of project because we can make a big change without ripping out the entire kitchen. The paint color that we selected is called Spanish Olive and is SO pretty!! The pale green is complimented by a warm Quartz with brown/gold veining.

Here is where we started with the kitchen:

We used the Quartz countertop as the backsplash for most of the kitchen and then a gorgeous tile for the backsplash in the smaller section of the kitchen.

The mosaic tile is gorgeous!!

I am so happy for my clients to get to enjoy their beautiful new kitchen! It feels so much lighter and bigger- a brand new space!

My favorite decor pieces for a foyer / entryway

I love decorating foyers and entryways for my clients. It is the first thing that people see when entering a home. Sometimes the space needs to serve a functional purpose for storing coats and shoes, and other times the foyer just has an empty wall for something decorative.

For this client, the goal was a place for people to take off shoes on a comfortable and sturdy bench. And the hooks allow for the storage of some smaller items since there is a coat closet in the space as well.

When adding a cabinet or console table, a mirror is the perfect thing to place above it. Having a spot to check your appearance before leaving the house is so practical.

Here are some of my favorite pieces that I love to use in a foyer / entryway.
