Project Reveal - Dining Room - Ridgewood interior designer

I recently shared a powder room from my #gardnerhomeproject and now I’m sharing the completed dining room. This home is from the 1930’s and my client’s moved into the home needing to completely furnish almost every room. Blank slate / full room transformations are my favorite projects because we are not limited by any item(s) that need to stay. From the start, we knew that we were going to add white paneling to the bottom half of the walls and install wallpaper on the top. We had a couple of bold options but after looking at the swatches on the wall, this floral paper was the winner.

Here is a closer view of the sideboard which features a mirror and simple decor to not detract from all of the other elements in the space.

Here is the BEFORE photo. As you can see, the previous owners of the home had table for six in the space - we went with a larger table and light fixture which really fills the room. There is no other furniture in the room beyond the sideboard so that we could maximize the space for seating for eight.

Ridgewood NJ interior designer Project Reveal

Here is a tiny preview from a multi room project in Ridgewood NJ that I’ve been working on since the spring and is finally (almost) done! We are waiting on the custom shade for the window but otherwise this powder room has been transformed. My clients are not afraid to go BOLD, so we did! I think a powder room is the perfect place to feature a dramatic wallpaper like this showstopper.

Here is a BEFORE photo of this Ridgewood bathroom. The home is from the 1930’s and it was a pretty obvious decision to keep this beautiful marble top vanity when we were planning the transformation.

And here is the most exciting thing that happened to me this week! Phillip Jeffries shared my work on their Instagram page of over 171k followers!! This was such a huge thrill and honor for me to have my work recognized by the leader in wallcoverings!

Project Reveal - Bedroom transformation Glen Rock interior designer

Here is the final space from my #AckermanHomeProject. To see the rest of this home click here for the downstairs and here for the baby nursery.

This bedroom is on the 3rd floor of the home so the ceilings are low but thankfully we were able to get the bed up all of the stairs and into the space. Yay!

On the wall is a framed 18x24 print of Foggy Day in the City from Clover Print Shop. This is one of my favorite abstract prints.

We maximized the small space with night stands that offer ample storage space.

Project Reveal -Baby Boy Nursery - Glen Rock NJ designer - Ackerman Home Project

If you follow me on Instagram, you got a preview this week of this sweet nursery at my #ackermanhomeproject that we just wrapped up and photographed! We started working on this project in the spring and we worked on several spaces in the home including this nursery, my clients’ bedroom, living room, home office and kitchen/dining room.

Today’s post will share all of the details of this baby boy’s nursery. This wall features a gorgeous dresser that will be used as a changing table and grow with the baby as he gets older. I love how the pom poms of the drapes coordinate with the color of the dresser. And how adorable are these large scale animal prints?!

Here you can see the rocking horse that is a family heirloom and fits perfectly in front of the windows.

The glider is comfortable and stylish!

The wallpaper accent wall is so much fun! I love the contrast of it against the white crib and mobile. We also feature a personalized name embroidery piece of art.

The bookshelves are already filled with books ready for this baby boy!
