Teenage Bedroom Transformation - Bergen County interior designer

I was so excited when my client asked me to design her daughter’s bedroom. This teen was ready for a big change and I had so much fun - I wish that this was the bedroom that I had when I was a teenager!!

Here is where we started with the space - quite the change!

My client told me that her daughter is a huge Taylor Swift fan so of course we had to incorporate that into the design!

I love how the new desk is flooded with light from the window- a great spot to do homework and study.

Celebrating 5 years in Business + McGee & Co shared my work!

Earlier in January, Christie Adams Design celebrated 5 years in business!! The time has really flown by, especially this past year which was super busy as I worked with 110 clients. Right before the end of the year, I got a fun surprise when I got the notification on instagram that McGee &Co shared my work!! I quickly took a screenshot and sent a text to my clients to share my excitement!

Thank you all for coming along on this journey with me - I have enjoyed meeting so many clients whether it’s been an in-home consultation, a Face-time virtual consultation or doing a room (or whole house!) renovation/ transformation. Whether it’s built-ins, a console table or coffee table, books are a must! There are nice looking books here - the color of the spines are really important when displaying books on built-ins. Greenery is also a must - real if possible of course.

Kitchen and Bathroom Reveal 100 year old home in NJ

I am so excited to share this project reveal that includes a kitchen and powder room renovation. My clients live in a charming home built in 1907 and they contacted me to help them with their kitchen and bathroom project. I love updating older homes and am so happy with the end result of this renovation. I selected timeless and classic hardware for the cabinets and mixed metals for a curated and elevated result. Aren’t these island pendants gorgeous?!
