Project Reveal- Ridgewood NJ interior designer Bedroom transformation

Today I am sharing the bedroom reveal from my Gardner Project which is a 1930’s home that got a total transformation from top to bottom. I have shared most of the first floor and today we are going upstairs to my client’s bedroom.

And here are the BEFORE photos!!! As you can see this was a blank slate project which is my FAVORITE!! We removed the wallpaper and the sellers took all of the furniture so it was an empty room for me to design and I couldn’t be happier about that!

I asked my clients if they preferred a ceiling fan or a light fixture and I am so happy that they picked light fixture. This one looks so stunning and really lets the bed shine! I also love the texture of the leather bench and wool rug.

Here is the concept board that I presented to my clients.

So many beautiful textures in this space!

Here is the dresser - the fluted drawer fronts are my favorite!

Christie works as an NJ interior designer and decorator in Wyckoff, Glen Rock, Allendale, Ramsey, Ho-Ho-Kus, Franklin Lakes, Montclair and North Haledon just to name a few.

Her mission is to create spaces that are both beautiful and functional for her clients. Christie loves the elevated modern farmhouse, modern rustic and modern / traditional aesthetic.

Working with an interior designer / decorator can save you money in the long run by avoiding costly mistakes or getting furniture that doesn’t really fit the space properly. If you have a new home in Bergen County that you recently purchased or are doing an addition or renovation in the Northern NJ area I’d love to learn more about your project and share how I can help as your interior designer.

Hanging art in your home - Ridgewood NJ interior designer

I have a new project that I can’t wait to share with you! This is #projectmodernlandmark and it’s a new build that I started working on in June and it just took forever for everything to finally be delivered. I’m starting with a small preview just to share a couple of the prints that we have selected for display.

The main living area is an open space for kitchen, dining and living. This wall features a 24x20 print called Lady Liberty and we had it framed via Framebridge. When filling a large wall, many people get scared of ordering something large but if you go too small it will get lost.

And here is another 18x24 Abstract print called Sea and Sky that is in a CB2 frame. It really fills up the wall above this beautiful sideboard in the dining area.

When I was at the home to take these photos, the light fixture above the dining table hadn’t arrived yet. But now it is here so I will return to take the rest of the photos of this beautiful space to share next week along with the 4 bedrooms. Stay tuned!
