Project Reveal - Bedroom transformation Bergen County interior designer

I am so thrilled to share this bedroom transformation project that I recently got to photograph. My clients had one request for their space and that was a canopy bed to take advantage of their incredible ceilings.

Here is a before photo - I always love a blank slate project!!

Between the pillows, the leather bench, upholstered headboard and rug, these textures together make me happy!!

I love how the 40” x 40” art fills the wall.

The opposite wall features the dresser (there is a TV above it) and a tall mirror to fill in the empty corner.

The color palette is so soft and soothing and makes for a welcome retreat at the end of a long day.

Home Office Design - Bergen County NJ interior designer

I loved this home office transformation! My client is working from home and wanted to have a WOW space - I think the finished result fits the bill! My carpenter executed my vision perfectly with the built-ins, the ceiling details and paneling on the wall opposite the built-ins.

Here is a close up of the fabulous light fixture - you can also see the beautiful art and custom leather sofa.

My client wanted a TV in the center of his built-ins and we used closed cabinets to hide all of the necessary office (non-pretty) items. I sourced some decor for the open shelves and my client added some personal touches to reflect his personality and interests.

Project Reveal- Wyckoff family room - NJ interior designer

Today I have a project reveal that I am so excited about! I met my clients last October when they were nearing the closing date on their new construction home in Wyckoff. Because it was a new build, the floors were already installed and the walls were painted and it was a complete blank slate. This is always my FAVORITE type of project! My clients did not have any furniture from their apartment that was going to be moved into their new home. With small kids, they wanted this family room space to be livable and functional and I am so thrilled to hear that they are all loving this new home!

Here is a Before photo that I took on the day that I met my clients last October.

I love the custom window treatments that we had installed. They provide privacy when needed but still allow the amazing natural light to come in.

Here is a close up of the window seat that my carpenter built. We had the cushion custom made in a performance durable fabric

We installed a gallery wall of family photos to fill up the big wall behind the sofa.

Project Reveal- Glen Rock kitchen transformation - Bergen county designer

I am so excited to share the full reveal of this Glen Rock kitchen renovation. For this project, I met with my clients last summer and we talked about their goals for the space. We then worked with my kitchen cabinet maker to create the new layout, select the cabinet style, color, hardware and countertops. At first, my clients were not so sure about having a contrasting island, but i assured them that they would love the finished result. And of course, they do!!

Even though we did not enlarge the kitchen, it feels so much bigger!!

And here is another Before / After side by side. Getting rid of the peninsula, and adding an island has made the kitchen much more functional.
