Bedroom Transformation: New Build Home Designer

Today I am excited to share this bedroom transformation! My clients recently purchased a newly built home with large closets so they did not need any storage in their bedroom in terms of a dresser or chest. So we went big with their bed to highlight their tall ceilings and added luxe window treatments and kept it simple and understated with the night stands.

I love new build homes for their abundance of windows and tall ceilings!

I am so happy to see the finished space. The color palette is serene and the room is now the perfect retreat after a long day.

It’s all in the details - I love the different textures we incorporated in the space. The woven woods on the windows, the upholstered bed, patterned vintage wool rug and the bedding / pillows are all so gorgeous in person!

Family Room Reveal- Bergen County interior designer

This project reveal is so special to me. I loved working with my wonderful clients on their new home for the past year and the end result is SO exciting to share with you all. My clients wanted this family room to be functional, warm and inviting as it is the heart of the home and connected to their kitchen. They have an abundance of natural light with so many big windows, and luckily they have a green thumb so the greenery you see is all real!!

Here is a before photo that I took about a year ago when I first met my clients. This is a new build home and when I was brought in, the walls were up so our first task was selecting paint and a floor stain.

We used a Frame TV over the mantle so that when the family isn’t watching TV, it looks like real art.

On the other wall of the room, we featured a gallery of family photos.

Living Room Transformation - Bergen County interior Designer

I am so thrilled to share this project reveal!! I met my clients in January to work on their new build home in Bergen County NJ. I have several rooms to share and am starting with the living room. This was a blank-slate project which is always my absolute favorite!! My clients did not want a formal living room that nobody ever uses. So we have their piano front and center along with some seating - now it is a great spot to listen to some music or read a book after a long day.

I love how the artwork looks above the piano. The windows are covered in a beautiful woven wood shade - my favorite!

The other side of the room features a wall with shelving that we arranged with framed art and some pretty little vases.

Wyckoff Bathroom Transformation

I loved working with my clients on this bathroom transformation. Their two boys share this bathroom and it was time for a big change. The tricky part of this bathroom is that there is not a window, but we were still able to make it feel much more bright and spacious. And not to mention, it is so much more functional now too. I am so thrilled with how it all turned out!

Here is a BEFORE / After - the pink sinks and tile had to GO!!

The other part of the bathroom where the shower is located also got renovated. We said goodbye to the pink tub and toilet!

I know that my clients will enjoy their brand new bathroom for many years to come. And now we are already getting started on another bathroom in their house so stay tuned for that reveal, hopefully in the spring!
