Simple and easy bathroom update! Bergen County decorator

I love going to places like Marshalls for accessories as they always have great deals. I got a pack of 4 black and white hand towels for $3.00 that go so perfectly in this black and white bathroom! It’s always fun to mix high (the vanity and sink) with lower priced items (the plant is Ikea!)

So excited to reach this little milestone in my first year in the interior design business so I thought it was a good time for an introduction post :) I’m Christie and I am married with 2 daughters and a 🐱. You already know I love decorating and design so I’m going to share something you probably don’t know about me. . .

My biggest love is traveling which started in high school. I got a brochure from a local travel agent and saved all of my waitressing money until I could afford a 12 day tour to Europe. My mom came with me as I was only 16 :). Since that trip I have explored nearly every country in Europe (even Cyprus!) and lived in France 3 different times (Strasbourg my junior year of college, Paris after college as a waitress and Nice for graduate school). Yes I have a masters degree in French literature!! .

Powder Room Design - Ridgewood NJ interior designer

I have been working with a great client in Wyckoff NJ on her powder room refresh! I loved the black and white tile floors she had and selected a wallpaper that I think is a great compliment to the flooring. We also had the trim painted white and updated the mirror and light fitxure. Finally I selected a wooden shelf with black hardware to bring in some natural wood. I stopped by her house today to take a couple of photos and love seeing the side by side comparison!
