I have loved working with this client on her master bedroom design! Here is a peek at what we ordered for her room and I can't wait for everything to come in by mid-August.  I will go back there for an installation day and photo shoot so I can't wait to share the before and after photos over here!!  It's so fun to see ideas come to life!

The first step to working together is an in-home consultation where I will learn more about your needs and go over style, budget and space planning.  After the consultation is where the real fun starts! I create a concept board like the one above and then we get started on ordering everything.  I will return to your home to help with putting everything in its place so your finished space is just like out of a magazine!

What every room needs! by Bergen County decorator

You already know of my love of greenery and plants, but even just a simple bouquet of flowers in a vase can do wonders to finishing off a space!  This bouquet is for my 14th wedding anniversary and I couldn't decide if they should be displayed in the kitchen or dining room but I love them in both locations! 

If you feel like there is a spot in your home that could use a little something, try getting a simple vase (this one is from Target!) and a bouquet with soft colors and greenery (these were $10 from our local grocery store).

NJ Master Bedroom Interior Designer

I am so excited to share this master bedroom design project!  My client contacted me in May saying that she wanted to create a master bedroom retreat before baby #3 was born. We were on a major time crunch but everything fell into place!  Now mom and dad have a beautiful and relaxing space to go to at the end of the day raising three little ones. 

The first step in our process of working together was asking her to fill out my client questionnaire form. In it she said that her style was "Rustic/beachy/shabby chic" and that she liked "whites, creams, grays, blues, greens (mostly muted/blushes)."   Next I went to her home for a consultation where I was able to see what furniture and decor she needed and what was staying in the room as she already had a couple of dressers that remained.  We looked at inspiration photos, discussed budget and ideas and created a shopping list of items for me to source. 

Then the real fun began as I spent the next couple of weeks putting ideas together.  We met at Home Goods to shop together for the bedding and last Friday was installation day!  I brought my handyman and we put the new room together- hung the art, installed the new custom headboard, arranged the rug, hung the drapes and new rods and fluffed the pillows :)
