I have mentioned before about my love of greenery and how I think it's important to add some kind of plant or flower to any space to liven it up. Well I've been on the hunt for the perfect faux fiddle leaf fig tree for months for my own dining room. I knew that a real one was out of the question for me since I can't even keep a cactus or succulent alive in my kitchen. But I didn't want a fake looking fake tree :) So I spent countless hours on google searching for blog posts about the best fake fiddle leaf tree option and narrowed it down to 3. There is one at Pottery Barn, West Elm and World Market and they all were praised on multiple blogs for being very life-like.
One of the major benefits of living in Bergen County NJ is that we have access to just about any store you can imagine. So all 3 stores are within a 20 minute drive of my house in Wyckoff. I spent yesterday driving around to check them out in person and came home with this beauty from West Elm!!
Now it didin't come with a planter pot so that was today's mission. I searched online for a concrete / grey style planter and couldn't find anything that was grabbing my attention. So I drove to Marshalls, Target, Lowes and Home Depot. I am exhausted! But I love the planter I bought so it was well worth it! Want to guess which store I purchased it from??
